I have long tried to reach the unreachable. Today's blog stats tell me that I may have just opened the door.
There were two times in my early days on the internet that I was taken in by a hoax; embarrassing to say the least, and while one time should have taught me a lesson, I just had to fall for round two. After that I set out to make quite certain that never happens again. Part of the effort was learning what the hoax sites were, but the most important part was learning how to do serious research that I might debunk a hoax on my own. To that end I owe a very small debt of gratitude to those who daily lie to the American public and probably wet their pants laughing at the gullible.
What troubles me most is that the gullible just keep going back for more. Many are taken in by the fact that these sites occasionally post something that is true. That is no more than smoke and mirrors, but enough to keep their readers loyal. One trace of sensationalism and I avoid future contact. Any who choose to 'Spice it up' are presenting less than the truth, and anything less than the truth is a lie.
Ayn Rand once wrote a book entitled 'The Virtue of Selfishness'. Most of us equate selfishness with greed. Ayn Rand did not, as she wrote of the virtue of rational self interest, forever scorning altruism. I am selfish in that regard and want to influence those who frequent the hoax and sensationalist sites and I may have stumbled upon the method to do just that.
Over my years of writing I have come to know a great deal about human nature and the less than honorable tactics of these so called 'journalists' or 'alternative media'. Are you familiar with the term 'Yellow Journalism'? If not, it is a tactic to capture a person's attention with a headline that has little to do with the content of the article that follows. Sensationalism!
Regarding human nature I have learned that many people, essentially lazy, read the headline and no more, taking it for truth and reposting it to their gullible friends. In my writings I have long stressed the need for people to read the content rather than simply relying on what the headline tells them. In most cases I have failed miserably but have now learned how to turn this inherent lazy side of the human race to my advantage, and to their benefit as well. More on that shortly...
To be perfectly honest there is not a minute that passes that I am not thinking of the danger we face from today's corrupt political agenda. To that end I have long tried to awaken America with what I know; and I read an enormous amount of news with each passing day. I have written nearly five hundred essays about the things that are happening and the future events that are certain to come to pass as the laws of causality engage.
In addition to my essays I have also built an internet library with multiple sites, one with breaking news, and many others where the individual topics are stored for any seeking specific knowledge.
Some may think it rather arrogant, but I know for a fact that I am one of the best informed people in this nation. That claim is based on the fact that I do so much research, remain focused, and totally disregard the hoaxes, lies, exaggerations, and trivia so common on the internet. That led me to create another site in my library of reliable News Sources, and another of News Roundup where I compile the thirty, forty, or fifty articles I read everyday.
For four plus years I have been writing that we are headed for civil collapse and civil war. Since the Bundy Ranch scenario many have now come to agree with my premise, but do not know where to turn as they still rely on the sensationalists and liars of the internet to keep them up to date.
Ignorance always results in catastrophe. Due to the rampant ignorance of our people I have also delivered the bad tidings that millions will die in the coming civil strife. Millions will, but it is my intentions to be certain that most of them are those who are tearing this nation apart.
Ignorance is the bane of the rational mind. Actually it can be dispelled with but little effort. I do not expect anyone to read all that I do, but say this for certain. The more you know, the better are your chances of surviving the coming strife, and if your knowledge is non-existent so to are your chances of survival.
Now, let us return to headlines, as I earlier promised. It has long bothered me when people read the headlines and no more, however... Far better to read only the headlines, as long as they are accurate, than to read only the internet rubbish that passes for news. You will learn far more in reading the headlines on News Roundup in one day than you will learn from a lifetime of Alex Jones' Infowars, Before It's News, Rense, Doug Hodges, and such. Those headlines are from the most accurate news sources available and I have read or at least scanned every article that I post.
I have seen so many post pictures of the flag of Israel with a comment to click like if you support the Jewish nation; but they will not take the time to read an honest essay about what the Jews must endure to survive. What kind of support is that? Others post articles about the current border crisis and that article tells us that the UN is amassing a vast army across the border to invade America. I simply shake my head and write that person off as a casualty in coming days, but that need not be the case.
Read just the headlines that I post in News Roundup. If you will but do this every day you will vastly increase your comprehension of what is taking place in the world around you, and with knowledge you increase your chances of surviving events to come.
You, quite naturally, can repost any link that you encounter in News Roundup but you will do your fellow conservatives a far better service if you repost the whole publication and give them the same chance to learn that I present you with.
In the past several people have commented that I am arrogant. Perhaps so; but I know the effort I have put into trying to awaken the people of this nation before it is too late. I have written in the past that I would like to see all Americans put forth just three percent of the effort that I do. Surely that could be called arrogant, and and when writing that I was asking people to read essays. Today, getting ever closer to the danger point, I will be delighted if you only read the headlines that I post.
Knowledge is our greatest defense. Utilize it while there is yet time.
Prologue. A brief history of News Roundup: It began in my library as 'News You May Have Missed', and became the inspiration for five daily blogs I wrote called 'News Roundup' and with each passing day less read them. I concluded that I had wasted my time and resolved not to continue until some of my regular readers wanted me to do just that, and so I merged News You May Have Missed with the concept of News Roundup and no longer trying to continue both efforts I was able to vastly improve on one. Today's stats tell me that I am headed the right direction. Surely it will do you no harm to just take one little look. Who knows; you might even choose to visit every day.
